Last night was the dinner with the SJ Family: break out the pretty plates, glasses, and clothes. It is good to know that some things dont change: That’s What She Said’s, tickle-assults, laziness, clumsiness, gluttony, and smartassery. Five people in the kitchen, attempting to make lumpia in a Filipino household—gutsy. And we would have homemade crepes for dessert (which sugar-ko’ed me) and then have a cake as a second dessert. I didn’t make it to the cake *sniffs*

In the words of my best friend: ”I may not have that enormous circle of friends, but I have those special few and that’s all I need. They make me realize who true friends really are.”
